About The Position
Body Mechanics Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time or part-time Physical Therapist for a staff-level role in their established private practice in Milwaukee, WI. The clinic has been in operation for 30 years and focuses on outpatient orthopedics. The position offers treatment autonomy, schedule flexibility, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities. Physical Therapists will provide one-on-one patient care, focusing on manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, pain science, and corrective exercise for all ages. The clinic is supported by experienced front desk administrators.
Requirements
- Graduation as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (Or Equivalent Standing).
- Eligible for Wisconsin state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Full-time availability is preferred.
- Candidates with 30+ hours and 3 days of availability per week will be considered.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of experience is preferred.
- Manual therapy and dry needling experience preferred.
- Motivated candidates without manual therapy or dry needling training are encouraged to apply, as training will be provided.
- Open to all experience levels, including new grad PTs.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one patient care in a primarily general outpatient orthopedic setting.
- Focus on manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, pain science, and corrective exercise.
- Manage a caseload of 6 to 8 patients per day with 45 to 60 minute sessions.
- Utilize private treatment rooms and open gym space equipped with standard equipment and an AlterG Antigravity treadmill.
- Engage in continuous skill improvement individually and collectively with weekly patient care discussions and manual therapy practice labs.
- Build relationships with physicians for referrals when necessary.
