About The Position
Burger Rehabilitation Systems, Inc. is seeking a state board-licensed Physical Therapist to join its outpatient team. The position is described as full-time and offers a full benefits package, premium-free healthcare insurance, and the option to work four ten-hour days or five eight-hour days. The salary range is $48–$65 per hour, or an equivalent salary, depending on working hours, experience, and total compensation. The Davis location offers a structured mentorship program for new and experienced clinicians. It includes ongoing patient-care check-ins and dedicated mentoring sessions one to two times per month, covering practical clinical skills such as manual therapy, clinical reasoning, patient cueing and communication, treatment progression, cupping, RockFloss techniques, and other evidence-informed approaches. Requirements
- State board licensure as a Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Supervise support staff in the clinical area.
- Provide direct patient care as prescribed, including evaluation and treatment planning.
- Review physician referrals and patient medical records to help determine diagnoses and required physical therapy treatment.
- Collaborate with other personnel to develop and implement physical therapy care plans.
- Record prognosis, treatment, patient response, and progress in the patient's chart or computer system.
- Identify and document goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation.
- Evaluate treatment effects at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
- Instruct patients and families in treatment procedures to continue at home.
- Participate in educational activities of the service.
- Participate in clinical studies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
