About The Position
Cross Country Education is hiring a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to support K–12 students in Tavares, Florida. The role provides school-based physical therapy services to help students achieve mobility, functional, and educational goals. The schedule is a consistent 35-hour workweek.
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
- Active Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license.
- Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
- Completion of a criminal record and background check.

Responsibilities
- Assess students and provide physical therapy services, including treatment and individualized therapy goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to support students’ mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional independence.
- Collaborate with educators, school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs and educational goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and required compliance records.
