About The Position
St. Mary's Health Care System in Athens is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist. The therapist evaluates and treats patients with physical injuries or disabilities to improve movement, reduce pain, and restore functional independence. The role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing direct patient care, educating patients and caregivers, documenting care and outcomes, and collaborating with rehabilitation teams and participating in discharge planning.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
- Current physical therapist license.
- CPR certification.

Responsibilities
- Conduct physical therapy assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Provide direct patient care to restore strength, mobility, and function.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
- Document treatment sessions and patient outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate with rehabilitation teams and participate in discharge planning.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
