Physical Therapist (PT) - Full Time
About The Position
Preferred Therapy Solutions is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist for the sub-acute/skilled nursing rehabilitation department at Brewer Center for Health in Brewer, Maine. The 111-bed facility serves geriatric patients receiving short-term and long-term care, as well as patients with brain injuries, and is one of the few certified Brain Injury programs in the state. The spacious rehabilitation gym has separate treating areas for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology. The therapist will work collaboratively with the rehabilitation team to provide high-quality, compassionate care and help residents reach their highest level of independence. Preferred Therapy Solutions is owned and operated by therapists and emphasizes appropriate, ethical patient care. This position offers a $5,000 sign-on or relocation bonus. The stated good-faith pay range is $38 to $46 per hour.
Requirements
- Possess a current Physical Therapy license or be license-eligible to practice in the state of employment.
- Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Have experience with electronic documentation.
- Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
- Work well with others in a team setting.
- Be flexible with hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
- Work collaboratively with other rehabilitation therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team environment.
- Complete documentation with attention to detail and timeliness.
