About The Position

Sprenger Therapy is hiring an in-house Physical Therapist at Anchor Lodge in Lorain, Ohio. Sprenger Therapy is the rehabilitation team for Sprenger Health Care Systems, a third-generation, family-owned senior living organization operating 12 skilled nursing facilities across Ohio and South Carolina. The in-house, clinician-led and clinician-supported model is designed to prioritize residents’ needs, protect therapy time, respect clinical judgment, and provide accessible leadership and mentorship. New graduates are welcome. The Physical Therapist evaluates residents, develops individualized treatment plans with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team, and provides treatment to support mobility, strength, function, and independence. The role also includes screening residents, collaborating with PTA staff as applicable, initiating appropriate referrals, and documenting care to support quality outcomes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Current PT license or license-eligible.
Commitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care.
Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Provide physical therapy services focused on restoring mobility, strength, function, and independence.
Conduct screenings and identify residents who would benefit from intervention.
Supervise and collaborate with PTA staff as applicable.
Initiate referrals when appropriate in accordance with department procedures.
Document clearly and efficiently in support of quality outcomes.
