About The Position

This position coordinates and directs patient care services to patients of all ages to ensure that patient needs are met. Services include patient evaluation/ assessment, establishing and implementing a plan of care, assessing effectiveness of and modifying treatment to ensure goal achievement, and educating patients/caregivers. The role requires the application of therapeutic principles and practices based on current evidence and knowledge, appropriate clinical judgment, and patient preference. Quality documentation must be produced in a timely manner to support the provision of care, according to current standards based on professional association and regulatory guidelines. Data from selected outcome measures will be collected and analyzed to monitor patient progress and the benefit of interventions. An understanding of treatment costs and financial support as they relate to quality and efficiency, including budgeting, staffing, billing/coding, and procedural planning tasks, is also demonstrated.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist in the State of Colorado (required)
  • BLS Certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire)
