About The Position
Independence Rehab is seeking a compassionate and motivated PRN Physical Therapist to work at Cascades of Bend, a skilled nursing facility in Bend, Oregon. The role offers approximately 15–20 hours per week with flexible scheduling and competitive PRN compensation. The therapist will provide patient-centered care to help patients regain mobility, independence, and quality of life, working within a supportive, collaborative environment that values clinical autonomy and realistic productivity expectations.
Requirements
- Current Oregon Physical Therapist license, or eligibility for licensure.
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Strong clinical skills and communication skills.
- Patient-centered approach.
- Positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or geriatric experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, and age-related conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
- Help patients regain the confidence and physical abilities needed to return home or achieve their highest level of independence.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families to support safe mobility and continued progress.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
