About The Position

Provides physical therapy services in an acute care inpatient hospital setting. The clinician will work independently in a Trauma Level II facility with stroke certification. Acute care experience is required; trauma experience is highly preferred. If the clinician does not have trauma experience, the recruiter should confirm that the clinician is comfortable working in this environment independently. The position may require floating to Providence Mission Laguna. Local candidates within a 50-mile radius may be considered; contact the account manager regarding the local rate.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience; candidates with less experience may be screened if they can work independently.
Acute care experience is required.
California license is required; candidates may submit with proof that the license application has been submitted.
BLS certification is required.
Must be comfortable working independently in a Trauma Level II environment if lacking trauma experience.

Nice To Haves

Trauma experience is highly preferred.
First-time travelers are accepted if they have acute care experience; trauma experience is also noted for first-time travelers.

Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy services to acute care inpatients.
Work independently in the hospital environment.
Work three weekend shifts per six-week period; a weekend shift is Saturday or Sunday.
May be required to float to Providence Mission Laguna.
Travelers are unlikely to work holidays but may be expected to work the days immediately before or after holidays.
