Physical Therapist Per Diem

About The Position
Lakeview Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for a per diem role. The position provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations; pediatric care is required for some specialty positions. The Physical Therapist uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain, and performs related duties as assigned. The schedule includes a minimum of one weekend per month and 1–2 holidays per year, with the ability to pick up weekday shifts as volume demands. Scheduled hours are 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school with a Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
- Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy.
- Licensed with the Wisconsin Board of Physical Therapy if practicing in Wisconsin.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (BLS for Health Professionals).
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a medical setting.
- Membership in a related professional organization.
