About The Position

The Physical Therapist will manage a hospital-based inpatient and outpatient physical therapy clinic. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited program in Physical Therapy.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of active, full-time patient care experience is required.
  • Must hold a license in good standing as a Physical Therapist in Alaska.
  • Current BLS certification is required.
  • Ability to read complex instructions and communicate effectively in various settings, accommodating individuals from different cultural backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in basic arithmetic, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing, as well as interpreting graphs and spreadsheets.
  • Capable of creating, editing, and publishing professional correspondence, along with proficiency in using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint for reports and presentations.
  • Ability to apply common sense to detailed instructions and resolve complex problems related to patient care and administration.

  • Previous managerial experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled physical therapy evaluations and establish treatment plans for patients.
  • Optimize department revenue streams and manage expenses to ensure financial stability.
  • Balance reporting, audits, and tracking measures with clinic demands.
  • Promote and adhere to compliance with corporate, state, and federal guidelines for physical therapy practices.
  • Coordinate an orthopedic specialty field clinic, including the screening and prioritization of referrals.
  • Collaborate with corporate teams to develop administrative processes.
