Physical Therapist (PT) - School Based
About The Position
Sage Connections is hiring a full-time W-2 Physical Therapist to provide onsite, school-based services to K–12 students during the 2026–2027 school year. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday for 35 hours per week, with dates listed as ASAP through June 2027. The therapist will support students with physical, developmental, and motor-related needs and work with the school community to promote their educational and functional goals. Requirements
- Doctorate degree from an accredited program.
- Current Florida Physical Therapist license.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric, school-based, or experience working with children or students with disabilities.
- Familiarity with IEPs and special education services.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy services to students with physical, developmental, and motor-related needs.
- Assist students with improving balance, posture, gross motor skills, mobility, and safe participation in school activities.
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists, teachers, families, and other school staff to support students' educational and functional goals.
- Document student progress, maintain accurate therapy records, and communicate changes or concerns to the care team.
- Conduct evaluations.
