About The Position
Independence Rehab is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist for The Residency at Northfield in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. The therapist-owned company emphasizes clinical autonomy, ethical care, realistic productivity expectations, one-on-one patient care, and work-life balance. The role serves geriatric residents and offers support and autonomy to both experienced skilled nursing facility therapists and clinicians new to geriatric care. Relocation assistance and flexible scheduling are available.
Requirements
- Be licensed as a Physical Therapist, or be eligible for licensure, in Nebraska.
- Have strong communication skills and clinical judgment.
- Enjoy working with older adults and helping patients regain mobility, independence, and confidence.
- Be organized, self-directed, and able to thrive in a collaborative setting.
Nice To Haves
- Prior skilled nursing facility or geriatric care experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations and deliver patient-centered treatment for geriatric residents.
- Design and adjust care plans to support strong clinical outcomes.
- Collaborate with facility staff and interdisciplinary team members to support patient care.
- Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and support to PTA team members.
