About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a Physical Therapist specializing in pelvic health to join their Onalaska therapy team. This role involves examining, evaluating, diagnosing, prognosing, and intervening in all complexities of pelvic floor conditions for male and female patients. The therapist will develop personalized treatment plans, collaborate with referring providers and other clinical staff, and utilize multi-faceted treatment approaches. While specialization in pelvic floor therapy is desired, the role also allows for treating general orthopedic patients if preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or higher, in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved curriculum.
• State of Wisconsin Physical Therapist License.
• BLS for Health Care Providers from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Must be credentialed with Gundersen prior to starting.

Nice To Haves

• Board certification in pelvic floor therapy/women's health is highly desired.
• Ability and experience in treating all complexities of male and female pelvic floor conditions.
• Physical Therapist board-certified in pelvic health or Board-Certified Pelvic and Women’s Health Clinical Specialist (PWCS, formerly WCS) is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Examining, evaluating, diagnosing, prognosing, and intervening in all complexities of pelvic floor conditions.
• Developing personalized treatment plans for pelvic rehabilitation.
• Collaborating with referring providers and other clinical staff.
• Utilizing appropriate and timely methods of communication and treatment.
• Applying multi-faceted treatment approaches to remedy patient concerns/dysfunctions.
• Treating general orthopedic patient population (optional).
