Kindred Hospital Northland, located in Kansas City, MO, is a long-term acute care facility offering specialized, compassionate care to help patients with complex conditions recover, heal, and regain independence. The facility is designed for individuals who are medically stable but still need a longer recovery period, often after critical illnesses, surgeries, or prolonged hospital stays. We are looking for a dynamic Physical Therapist who is passionate about helping others and is a team player! New graduates are welcomed to apply!

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current PT license.
• CPR certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in rehab setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Provides educational information to patients in regard to injury prevention, ergonomics, restorative therapy and rehabilitation therapy.
• Supervises physical therapy assistants and aides in performing treatment.
• Conduct physical therapy assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Provide direct patient care to restore strength, mobility, and function.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
• Document treatment sessions and patient outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with rehab teams and participate in discharge planning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
