About The Position

AB Staffing is seeking an experienced and passionate Physical Therapist (PT) to support students for the 2025–2026 school year in the Greater Chicago area. This role offers flexibility, great pay, and the chance to change lives. The position involves evaluating patients, providing competent care using various therapeutic methods, building positive relationships with patients, communicating patient information, documenting care, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
Must possess a valid Illinois License for Physical Therapy.
1+ years of relevant experience.
BLS/CPR Cert.
Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a school and/or pediatric setting(s) preferred.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients by observing their movements, performing standardized tests, and listening to their concerns to establish an individualized plan of care.
Competent care rendered to patients.
Use exercises, stretching, equipment, modalities, and hands-on therapy to manage patients' pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and motivate them to reach their goals.
Provide continuity of care by communicating pertinent patient information with the rehab team, physicians, and other disciplines as needed.
Document all patient care in accordance with department policies.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
