About The Position

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community-based healthcare system that provides care to a 22-county region in North Florida and South Georgia. TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only Level II Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care, Pediatric Intensive Care, and the most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. The system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, six residency programs and more than 50 affiliated physician practices. This role delivers safe and competent physical therapy as ordered by a physician, plans, organizes, and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of physical therapy, collaborates with the interdisciplinary treatment team, and supervises the work of support personnel.

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree (or equivalent) from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)-accredited educational program.
• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in physical therapy from a CAPTE-accredited educational program conferred prior to 2019 and bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in physical therapy from a CAPTE accredited educational program conferred prior to 2000 may be accepted.
• None
• Current Florida Physical Therapist license. Temporary permit may be accepted.

Responsibilities
