About The Position

This position is for a physical therapist specializing in pelvic floor rehabilitation at The Ohio State University's Ambulatory Services | Pelvic Health Rehabilitation department. The physical therapist will exclusively treat pelvic floor diagnoses and pelvic health PT patients. The role involves providing physical therapy treatment to a diverse patient population, including those with spinal cord injury, head injury, stroke, and orthopedic conditions. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing comprehensive care plans, and documenting patient abilities, progress, and outcomes. The physical therapist will function within a team of rehabilitation professionals and may be assigned to other physical therapy departments within OSU. This position is located at University Hospitals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited school or equivalent combination of education or experience.
  • Currently licensed in the state of Ohio as a Physical Therapist.
  • 0 years of relevant experience required.
  • Licensed or certified with the respective profession and meet the educational and/or certification requirements established by their professions.
  • Maintains professional licensure.

Nice To Haves

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years experience working in a medical setting is preferred for all professionals hired.

Responsibilities

  • Provides physical therapy treatment to a diverse group of diagnoses including spinal cord injury, head injury, stroke, & orthopedic patients.
  • Responsible for the evaluation & development of a comprehensive care plan for all patients.
  • Functions within a team concept of rehab professionals.
  • Documents patients abilities, progress & outcomes.
  • Provides quality physical therapy services to an assigned group of patients and performs duties associated with patient care and participation in interdisciplinary teams.
