About The Position

Make a meaningful impact in pediatric care while enjoying a flexible, part-time schedule. Peninsula Pediatric Therapy, P.C. is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide pediatric services in Hollister. This is a part-time role with flexible scheduling, working with children (birth–21) with neuromuscular and orthopedic conditions. Peninsula Pediatric Therapy, P.C.’s mission is to provide compassionate, individualized, science-driven, attentive therapy services to children and their families. We do this by meeting people where they are, completing detailed evaluations to understand the underlying contributors inhibiting the family’s and child’s desired outcomes, and providing treatment approaches tailored to the needs, goals, learning styles, and interests of the client unit.

Requirements

• Active California Physical Therapist license (in good standing)
• Pediatric experience or strong interest in pediatrics
• Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
• Reliable transportation between work sites
• Ability to assist with lifting children and equipment

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Improve strength, balance, coordination, and mobility
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
• Educate families on home programs and equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation and monitor progress
