About The Position

This role is for a Physical Therapist specializing in Inpatient care at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital. The position is full-time, with a rotating schedule that includes Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, and variable weekends and holidays from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. The role involves creating individualized treatment plans, evaluating patient conditions through comprehensive assessments, performing evidence-based therapy interventions to improve patient mobility and quality of life, and leading/mentoring support personnel.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Physical Therapy (PT) license credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Nice To Haves

• Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create individualized treatment plans that empower patients and their families to achieve their specific recovery goals.
• Evaluate patient conditions through comprehensive assessments to ensure every clinical intervention is tailored to their unique needs.
• Perform evidence-based therapy interventions to improve patient mobility and enhance their overall quality of life.
• Lead and mentor support personnel, including assistants and students, to maintain a high standard of collaborative care across the rehab team.
