About The Position

The Physical Therapist-Degree, reports to the Children's Therapy Program Manager and receives clinical guidance from other Physical Therapists. The Physical Therapist-Degree is responsible for assisting in planning, organizing and collaborate with team members regarding the activities of the designated service area within the Physical Therapy Professional Guidelines to ensure that patients/clients referred receive a high standard of Physical Therapy. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Advanced - Communication skills
  • Basic - Critical thinking skills
  • Basic - Sound clinical judgment skills
  • Ability to follow safe work practices
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Knowledge of HIPA
  • Ability to be self-directed
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists (SCPT)

  • Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in planning, organizing and collaborate with team members regarding the activities of the designated service area within the Physical Therapy Professional Guidelines to ensure that patients/clients referred receive a high standard of Physical Therapy.
  • Responsibility and accountability at all times for her/his own practice.
  • Travel within the region and provincially.
