About The Position
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will help patients regain strength, improve mobility, reduce pain, and return to the activities they love. This role is within an outpatient setting at FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers, where you will work alongside experienced Physical Therapists in a collaborative environment, with opportunities for learning, growth, and career advancement. The position involves an average of 12 patients per day, with one-on-one 40-minute treatment sessions, focusing on orthopedic, vestibular, balance, and neurological rehabilitation. The role utilizes modern treatment equipment and AI-assisted documentation technology, promoting a positive work-life balance.
Requirements
- Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for outpatient rehabilitation and patient-centered care
- Team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercise, balance training, gait training, and functional mobility
- Educate patients on home exercise programs
- Monitor progress and communicate updates with the Physical Therapist
- Complete timely documentation using AI-assisted technology
- Help create an exceptional patient experience from start to finish
