About The Position
FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers is hiring a Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Metro Parkway clinic in Fort Myers. This role is suitable for both experienced PTAs and recent graduates, offering a supportive team environment, manageable patient caseloads, and outstanding opportunities for professional development. The clinic specializes in Orthopedic, Balance, Vestibular & Neurological rehabilitation and utilizes AI-assisted documentation technology. Clinicians benefit from one-on-one 40-minute treatment sessions with an average of 12 patients per day.
Requirements
- Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Passion for helping patients achieve their goals

Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance, and functional mobility
- Educate patients on home exercise programs
- Monitor patient progress and communicate with the Physical Therapist
- Maintain accurate documentation using AI-assisted technology
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered outpatient care
