About The Position
FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers is hiring a Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Metro Parkway clinic in Fort Myers. This position offers a supportive team environment, manageable patient caseloads, and outstanding opportunities for professional development. The role involves carrying out treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist, assisting patients with therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance, and functional mobility, educating patients on home exercise programs, monitoring patient progress, communicating with the Physical Therapist, and maintaining accurate documentation using AI-assisted technology. The clinic specializes in Orthopedic, Balance, Vestibular & Neurological rehabilitation.
Requirements
- Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Passion for helping patients achieve their goals
