About The Position
Absolute Rehabilitation and Consulting is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide patient-centered rehabilitation services. The PTA implements treatment plans developed by a Physical Therapist, guides patients through therapeutic exercises, modalities, and activities, and supports patients as they work toward recovery. The role includes monitoring and documenting patient progress and reporting significant changes to the supervising Physical Therapist. The PTA encourages and motivates patients while helping maintain a safe, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, and function.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, modalities, and activities to assist in their recovery.
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting significant changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Encourage and motivate patients to meet rehabilitation goals while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
