About The Position

Seeking amazing physical therapist assistants to join our team! Enjoy your work in our beautiful Pilates based clinic and fitness studio. We provide a positive and nurturing environment for you to treat your patients properly, and achieve excellent, long lasting results: One on one treatment sessions. One hour per client. State of the art Pilates and Redcord based equipment and methods. Emphasis on functional carryover for ADLs and or sports. Easy electronic documentation system. Stabilize Physical Therapy is a private, PT owned, outpatient clinic and fitness studio. We specialize in core strengthening using Pilates and Redcord techniques. Our mission is to provide a powerful healing environment that nurtures and promotes optimal health and well being for our patients and staff! Our innovative practice model seeks to progress each patient from one on one rehabilitation to a healthy lifestyle with ongoing personal training and group exercise options after discharge from PT. Requirements

  • California Physical Therapist Assistant License in good standing.
  • Professional liability insurance

Nice To Haves

  • STOTT or other Pilates instructor certification for Matwork and Reformer, and or STOTT or other Pilates coursework including Injuries and Special Populations, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels training.
  • Redcord training or Redcord Certified Neurac Practitioner.
  • Kinesiotape certification, training, or experience

Responsibilities

  • Excellent patient care and communication skills
  • Serve every client with friendly hospitality and patient-centered care
  • Ability to work independently, under guidance of lead therapist, and complete documentation in a timely manner
  • Ability to work well in the clinic team to further the mission of the clinic
  • Willingness to learn and become certified in Pilates and Redcord techniques
  • Teaching small group classes in balance and Pilates based therapeutic exercise, including Reformer and Matwork
