About The Position

STAR Physical Therapy is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for their outpatient clinic in Covington, LA. This position is available as full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time. The ideal candidate will be personable with good communication skills and will be supported and mentored, especially if a new graduate. The role involves treating patients of all ages with primarily general orthopedic conditions and a secondary emphasis on vestibular rehabilitation in a supportive clinical team environment. Full-time PTAs can expect to treat approximately 40 patients per week.

Requirements

• Graduation from a Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Eligible for LA state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Personable with good communication skills.
• New grad Physical Therapist Assistants will be supported and mentored.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients in an outpatient orthopedic clinic.
• Focus primarily on general orthopedic conditions.
• Provide secondary emphasis on vestibular rehabilitation.
• Work as part of a supportive clinical team.
• Treat approximately 40 patients per week if full-time.
