About The Position

The Physical Therapist Assistant provides high-quality, compassionate, personalized physical therapy to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role supports patients’ progress and rehabilitation outcomes by carrying out delegated physical therapy assistant tasks under supervision, following applicable regulations and professional guidelines, and communicating transparently with hospital departments. The position is part of a supportive team with access to well-equipped physical therapy gyms.

Requirements

• State licensure or certification is required.
• Demonstrated competence in physical therapy treatment.
• Strong communication skills for interactions with patients, families, and caregivers.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred, as per hospital policy.
• Completion of an accredited physical therapy program is preferred.

Responsibilities
