About The Position

We are looking for a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our inpatient hospital team in Van Nuys, CA. At this 350-bed hospital, we offer a full range of rehabilitation services to enable recovery from treatments or surgical procedures through patient education and individualized therapy plans. You will execute physical rehabilitative programs to improve patient quality of life.

Requirements

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant or ability to obtain licensure in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Passion for evidence-based, patient-centered care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Desire to grow clinically and contribute to a high-performing team environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality treatment under the direction of the Physical Therapist in an inpatient setting
• Progress patients toward functional goals through evidence-based care
• Build strong patient relationships and create a positive care experience
• Communicate patient progress and clinical updates to the supervising PT
• Complete timely, accurate documentation
• Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing clinic environment
