The Physical Therapist Assistant works in a skilled nursing setting with a diverse geriatric population. The role involves treating patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, cardiac conditions, and general deconditioning. The assistant develops individualized treatment plans, collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team, and helps patients return to their highest level of independence. The position offers manageable caseloads and respect for clinical judgment.

TheraDynamics provides supportive interdisciplinary collaboration with nursing, physicians, and families, and encourages evidence-based care. Full-time, part-time, and per-diem options are available.

Requirements

• Associate's degree from an accredited PT program.
• Current or eligible for a New York State PTA license.
• Passion for geriatric rehabilitation and functional outcomes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
