In this Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) role, the Physical Therapist Assistant works with a diverse geriatric population and collaborates with nursing, physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.

The position involves treating patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, cardiac conditions, and general deconditioning. The assistant contributes to individualized treatment plans and helps patients regain function and independence. TheraDynamics describes its SNF teams as collaborative and supportive, with reasonable productivity expectations and evidence-based care. New graduates are encouraged to apply and receive structured mentorship. Full-time, part-time, and per-diem options are available.

Requirements

• Associate's degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current or eligible for a Connecticut State PTA license.
• Passion for geriatric rehabilitation and functional outcomes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
