About The Position
Join the team at Lanessa Extended Care as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), providing physical therapy services to patients under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist. The role serves a general rehabilitation caseload and includes supporting assessment and treatment, consulting with patients and caregivers, and documenting clinical activities. Weekly pay is up to $40 an hour. The posting describes full-time and per diem opportunities.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
- Continuing education units in accordance with state licensure requirements.
- Current licensure by the applicable state agency where required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior clinical experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with assessment data collection and provide direct treatment to a general rehabilitation caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- Participate in clinical program development and implementation.
- Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers.
- Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with a supervisor.
- Document activities in the company's clinical documentation system in a timely manner.
- Continue learning to remain current in the field.
