About The Position
The Physical Therapist Assistant provides and directs physical therapy services to clients, which may include pediatric, adult, and/or geriatric persons, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The goal is to help clients reach their maximum performance potential within a medical model of practice. Homecare visits are required, and the role involves travel to various locations. This is a per-diem position with a minimum of two shifts monthly as needed. The listed schedule is 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The hourly rate is $32.00–$40.00, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid New Jersey state licensure.
- Valid New Jersey driver's license.
- At least three years of experience.
- Flu vaccine required during flu season.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a nursing care facility or other related health care facility is preferred.
