About The Position

This outpatient orthopedic clinic group operates five locations across Orange County and LA County, and manual therapy is a core part of how patients are treated rather than an add-on to an exercise-based model. This is a floating role covering vacations primarily across the Costa Mesa, Irvine, and Long Beach locations, with occasional coverage at Santa Ana and Stanton as needed. Vacation schedules are typically set a month or more in advance, so you will know which location you are covering ahead of time. On days without coverage needs, you will be based at one of the primary locations seeing overflow patients. You will work one-on-one with each patient for the first thirty minutes of the visit, then hand off to an aide who finishes the session. Patients are typically in clinic for about an hour total.

Requirements

• Active California PTA license.
• Recent, ongoing manual therapy experience.
• Comfortable adapting to the clinic's EMR, which includes AI-assisted documentation.
• Generally open to learning new technology and workflows.
• Comfortable driving between multiple clinic locations.
• Comfortable adjusting week to week based on the coverage schedule.

• Manual therapy exposure that is not years old, or that came only from school or from skilled nursing and home health settings.

Responsibilities
