About The Position
This is a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position in Home Health at UT Health ET. Unlike clinic-based roles, this position focuses on delivering dedicated, one-on-one patient care within the patient's home. The role offers autonomy and the opportunity to make a significant, visible impact on patients' lives by helping them regain strength, mobility, and independence. The day-to-day involves managing a local patient schedule, providing hands-on therapy, and educating patients and their families.
Requirements
- Licensed PTA with a passion for patient-centered care
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Strong communicator who builds trust quickly

- Home health experience is a plus—but we’ll support you if you’re transitioning
Responsibilities
- Carry out personalized therapy plans designed by the PT
- Guide patients through strength, balance, and mobility training
- Use modalities like ultrasound and e-stim
- Track progress and adjust care in real time
- Educate patients and families so progress continues beyond visits
