As a Home Health PTA, you’re not rushing between clinic patients or juggling double-booked schedules. You’re delivering focused, one-on-one care—with the time and autonomy to do your job right. Your day actually looks like starting with a manageable, local patient schedule, driving to patients’ homes where you deliver hands-on, meaningful care, helping patients rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence, using your clinical skills—not just following routines, and finishing your day knowing you made a real, visible impact. There is no clinic chaos and no productivity hamster wheel.
Requirements
- Licensed PTA with a passion for patient-centered care
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Strong communicator who builds trust quickly
- Ability to lift, assist, and move patients (up to 100 lbs)
- Comfort working in different home environments
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience is a plus—but we’ll support you if you’re transitioning
Responsibilities
- Carry out personalized therapy plans designed by the PT
- Guide patients through strength, balance, and mobility training
- Use modalities like ultrasound and e-stim
- Track progress and adjust care in real time
- Educate patients and families so progress continues beyond visits
