About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to care for a diverse patient population. The role may suit someone with prior inpatient hospital experience or a commitment to learning. PAM Health provides specialty care to chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, the PTA provides direct patient care and plans and implements treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health System. The PTA may also contribute to further development of services and must be flexible to meet the system’s needs across different facilities.
Requirements
- PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Plan and implement individualized treatment programs in accordance with Physical Therapy principles and practices and PAM Health System requirements.
- Contribute to the further development of services.
- Be flexible in meeting the system’s needs across different facilities.
