About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for its new Dallas rehabilitation hospital, scheduled to open in the fall. The role provides care to a diverse patient population in a specialty rehabilitation setting serving chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. The Physical Therapist Assistant provides direct patient care and plans and implements individual treatment programs under the direction of a Physical Therapist. The role may also contribute to the further development of therapy services and requires flexibility to meet the needs of the system across different facilities. Prior inpatient hospital experience is welcomed, though a commitment to learn is also suitable.
Requirements
- Hold a PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Have current BLS certification.

- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System.
- Participate in the further development of therapy services.
- Remain flexible to meet system needs across different facilities.
