About The Position
Concept Rehab is looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – PRN to join our therapy team in Waterford, MI. This is a great opportunity for a PTA looking for flexible scheduling, meaningful patient care, and a supportive clinical environment. The PTA will provide quality physical therapy treatments according to established plans of care, help patients improve strength, mobility, balance, function and independence, collaborate with the PT, nursing staff, patients and families, document patient care accurately and timely, participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team communication, educate patients, families and facility staff as appropriate, and provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a skilled nursing/post-acute rehabilitation setting.
Requirements
- Current Michigan Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to quality patient care
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
