About The Position
Concept Rehab & Engage Consulting is looking for a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in North Muskegon, Michigan! This is a flexible PRN PTA opportunity that allows you to pick up hours while maintaining your current schedule. Concept Rehab is a therapist-owned and operated organization with more than 45 years of experience providing quality rehabilitation services. We believe in supporting our therapists while providing excellent, patient-centered care. As a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll work alongside an experienced rehabilitation team to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance and functional independence.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Michigan PTA license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing, post-acute or geriatric experience is a plus

Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises and functional activities
- Assist patients with improving strength, mobility, balance and endurance
- Monitor patient responses and communicate changes to the supervising PT
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility and safety
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with nursing and other members of the interdisciplinary team
- Promote patient safety and quality outcomes
