About The Position
Indigo Manor Nursing and Rehab is seeking a motivated and experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join its team in Daytona Beach, Florida. The PTA will support the rehabilitation program by assisting physical therapists with individualized treatment plans and delegated interventions, monitoring patient progress, maintaining treatment records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. Requirements
- PT Assistant degree from an accredited program.
- Current Florida PTA licensure.
- Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients as needed.
- Minimum 0 years of experience; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct delegated tasks and interventions, including exercises, stretching, and strengthening exercises.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes or concerns to the physical therapist.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support effective patient care.
