About The Position
Colonial Vista Post Acute is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to help residents recover strength, confidence, and independence after surgery, illness, or injury. The role supports residents as they work toward returning home and resuming the lives they enjoy, within a supportive rehabilitation team working alongside physical therapists, occupational therapists, and nursing staff. The position is available full-time or PRN in Wenatchee, Washington. Full-time pay is $30–$40 per hour and PRN pay is $35–$45 per hour, based on experience. Full-time positions include benefits for the employee and their family.
Requirements
- Current Washington PTA license.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Positive, encouraging attitude and strong people skills.
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience; new graduates are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans established by the physical therapist.
- Help residents improve strength, balance, mobility, and walking.
- Teach residents and families exercises and safe ways to move.
- Track residents’ progress and communicate their responses to the physical therapist.
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation.
- Work with nursing and the care team to support each resident’s recovery.
