About The Position

Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a talented Physical Therapy Assistant to support their physical therapy practice, which complements their orthopedic surgery practice. This role is ideal for an experienced PTA looking to contribute to a practice focused on helping patients live pain-free and without limitations. The position will play a key part in expanding the physical therapy practice to serve the underserved, aligning with the company's mission of providing high-quality, personalized, and compassionate orthopedic care.

Requirements

Physical Therapy Assistant License or pending license (Required)

Nice To Haves

2+ years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
Associate degree (Preferred)
Licensed PTA clinical: 1 year (Preferred)
Spanish language proficiency (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Directly carries out the day-to-day patient assignments with the oversight and guidance by the Physical Therapist.
Conducts physical therapy care within the scope of practice, as well as agency policies and regulations.
Consistently follows company policies and procedures.
Maintains compliance with applicable federal, state, accreditation and local standards, rules and regulations.
Participates in personal professional growth and development.
Participates with the interdisciplinary team to assure coordination of care and continuity of care delivery.
Reports all changes to patient findings to the Physical Therapist, as well as the physician where applicable.
Other duties as assigned.
