About The Position
Concentra is a national health care company focused on improving America’s workforce through occupational medicine, urgent care, primary care, physical therapy, and wellness services. The company also provides onsite health services in worksite medical facilities. The PRN Physical Therapist Assistant supports patients seeking relief from pain and assistance with injuries. Under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the assistant performs prescribed client treatment programs and activities and provides technical assistance regarding therapeutic programs, methods, and equipment, in accordance with Concentra Medical Centers’ Injury Process Management and rehabilitation philosophy in occupational medicine. The role requires ongoing discretion and secure management of confidential and critical information.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with an Associate’s degree.
- Meet the licensure or registration requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
Responsibilities
- Under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, perform prescribed client treatment programs and activities.
- Provide technical assistance regarding therapeutic programs, methods, and equipment.
- Follow Concentra Medical Centers’ Injury Process Management and rehabilitation philosophy in occupational medicine.
- Maintain discretion and securely manage confidential and critical information.
