About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the therapy team at Autumn Lake at Arcola. Work alongside experienced rehabilitation professionals while providing hands-on treatment that helps residents improve strength, mobility, balance, and overall function.
Requirements
- Active Maryland PTA license required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to providing quality, resident-centered rehabilitation
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or post-acute care experience is a plus, but not required
- New graduate PTAs are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Guide residents through strengthening, gait training, balance, transfers, endurance, and mobility activities
- Follow established treatment plans and support individualized rehabilitation goals
- Observe resident progress and communicate relevant changes to the supervising PT
- Reinforce therapeutic exercises and safe movement techniques
- Complete clear and timely treatment documentation
- Work closely with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident recovery
