About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is looking for a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to become part of our therapy team. Work in a collaborative rehabilitation environment where you'll support residents as they work toward improved movement, function, and quality of life.
Requirements
- Current NJ PTA license required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
Nice To Haves
- Previous post-acute or skilled nursing experience is a plus, but not required
- New graduate PTAs are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed PT
- Assist residents with gait training, transfers, strengthening, balance, and mobility activities
- Follow established plans of care and support individualized rehabilitation goals
- Observe resident response to treatment and communicate progress with the supervising therapist
- Provide education on exercises and safe mobility strategies
- Maintain clear and timely treatment documentation
- Work closely with the interdisciplinary care team
