About The Position

Seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week rehabilitation assignment working 35 guaranteed hours per week. The PTA will provide rehabilitative and medically necessary treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, helping patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence. This role is ideal for candidates with LTC or rehabilitation experience who thrive in a collaborative patient-centered environment.

Requirements

• 1+ year of PTA experience required
• LTC or Rehabilitation experience required
• Active Massachusetts PTA license required
• Experience providing therapeutic exercises and mobility training required
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and assistive devices required
• Strong communication and patient education skills required
• Ability to document treatments accurately in the EMR required
• New graduates considered with Level II clinical experience (not observation only)
• Resume required at submission
• Skills checklist completed within the last year required
• Active PTA license must be included with submission
