About The Position

A Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position is available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Poughkeepsie, NY. Once part of the PTS team, you may join as many of our Per Diem rosters as you would like. We have a dynamic therapy team which includes a fantastic and very experienced Rehab Director! We also have a strong interdisciplinary team with all hands on deck approach. We have a good mix of experienced therapists and young/new therapists. We have diverse clinical programs running in the department. Located in a quaint residential area in a historic district of the City of Poughkeepsie. Requirements

• Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting
• Be flexible with hours

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
