About The Position

A Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position is available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Marlborough, MA. Once hired as a PTS employee, you may join as many of our PRN rosters as other locations in the area if you would like. The facility is a bustling 144-bed sub-acute/skilled nursing facility in Marlborough, MA, specializing in the geriatric population in both sub-acute and long-term care domains. It features a large, beautiful rehab gym with various equipment and an expansive interdisciplinary team with great collaboration between disciplines to optimize patient outcomes and discharge planning. Preferred Therapy Solutions is owned and operated by therapists, focusing on appropriate and ethical patient care, with management members who have experience in similar roles. They understand therapist needs and offer a generous paid time off package and a strong education department.

Requirements

• Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
