Physical Therapist Assistant - PTA (Per Diem)
About The Position
A Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position is available in the sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Holden, MA. Once hired as part of the PTS team, you may join as many of our other local PRN rosters as you wish. Holden Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center is a 123-bed facility providing long-term skilled care and short-term rehab services. The facility is newly renovated with state-of-the-art equipment and mostly private accommodations, featuring distinct neighborhoods for short-stay, long-term, and respiratory care, each with its own amenities. Preferred Therapy Solutions, owned and operated by therapists, focuses on ethical patient care and understands the needs of therapists, offering a generous paid time off package and a strong education department.
Requirements
- Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
- Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
- Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
- Work well with others in a team setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
- Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
